You will have:</p><ul><li>Proven experience in arboriculture, including pruning, felling, planting, and maintaining tree health and safety.</li><li>Skill in operating and maintaining tools and machinery such as chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and aerial lifts.</li><li>Experience delivering customer‑focused services and achieving high standards of client satisfaction.</li><li>Knowledge of a range of tree species, their growth habits, and disease identification.</li><li>Strong problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on safety and efficiency.</li><li>A consistent approach to health and safety compliance, safeguarding yourself, your team, and the public.</li><li>A valid UK driving licence and experience operating company vehicles safely.</li></ul><h3>Leadership and Team Skills</h3><ul><li>Ability to lead, support and motivate a team to deliver excellent services.</li><li>Experience conducting performance reviews and development conversations.</li><li>Effective communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.</li><li>Ability to share knowledge and best practice to continually improve service delivery.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and Practical Knowledge</h3><ul><li>City & Guilds NPTC/Lantra Qualification in Arboriculture or Horticulture (Level 3)</li><li>IPAF 3a, 3b and 1b Operator (cherry picker / MEWP)</li><li>CS30 (201/202) – Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting</li><li>CS31 (203) – Felling Small Trees</li><li>CS32 (301) – Felling Medium Trees</li><li>CS40 (307) – Pruning</li><li>NPTC – Chipper Operations</li><li>Broad knowledge of trees, shrubs, and pruning techniques</li><li>Confident climbing ability and safe working at height</li><li>Understanding of site safety, risk assessment, and complex arboriculture operations</li><li>Ability to use mobile devices (tablets, smartphones) and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams</li></ul><h3>Additional requirements</h3><ul><li>A full UK driving licence (trailer entitlement desirable)</li><li>A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to completing work safely and efficiently</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across teams and regions</li><li>Commitment to providing inclusive, high‑quality customer service</li><li>Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging or changing situations</li><li>Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development</li><li>A Basic DBS check (provided by us)</li></ul><p>You will join a supportive, professionalakathi....
