An exciting opportunity to join our travel ledger team within our Finance Department based on our head office in Sunderland.
The role encompasses working within a team involved in the financial transactional processing and audit of customer holiday bookings. Reviewing the trade ledgers and ensuring bookings and accounting records are accurate and associated reporting has financial integrity while managing risk on travel bookings in line with group policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify & correct incorrect holiday bookings & drive root cause improvements.
2. Manage the risk on travel bookings and ensuring branches and travel partner adhere to company policies.
3. Comply with the department and business policies associated with the Travel ledger role.
4. Gain full understanding of the different trading divisions within the group and their working practices.

Technical Skills Required
13. Basic knowledge of computer systems Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to utilise its key functionalities
14. Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
15. File management skills
16. Web Navigation Skills
Qualifications/Experience required
17. English & Maths grade 4 or above
General
18. To be committed and dedicated to completing the customer service Apprenticeship programme within the 12 month timescale, attending all relevant training workshops
19. To undertake any other duties that may fall into the job criteria
20. To conform with all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety
