We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to act as the primary UK contact for both UK and global products. This role combines strong technical expertise, business analysis capabilities, and change management proficiency. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication, alignment, and prioritisation across UK product teams and CBRE's Core Enablement Platform (CEP) roadmap, particularly as the UK transitions from project mode to business-as-usual (BAU). Key responsibilities include driving process improvements, managing stakeholder relationships, facilitating workshops, and ensuring seamless project execution to meet UK market needs and achieve strategic objectives.
What you will be doing:
Discovery and Requirements Gathering
* Lead and coordinate requirements gathering activities for items approved on the roadmap, engaging all impacted UK teams.
* Conduct local pre-discovery activities before engaging with global D&T teams.
* Collaborate with CEP product teams during discovery, testing, feedback, and approval processes, representing the UK perspective in global/regional sessions.
* Maintain and regularly update documentation in Confluence, ensuring that any newly released features are clearly communicated to the wider UK team.
Change Management
* Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and minimise disruptions.
* Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and provide ongoing support throughout the change lifecycle.
* Provide training materials and conduct workshops to ensure end-user proficiency with new systems and processes.
BAU Management and Process Improvement
* Prioritise bug fixes and manage the bug backlog, ensuring timely resolutions and a smooth user experience.
* Oversee Jira ticket management, ensuring tickets are written with clear acceptance criteria and kept up to date.
* Conduct rigorous testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) of Jira tickets, identifying and resolving issues before deployment.
* Review and approve product access requests and manage international item reviews that could impact the UK.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear and regular communication.
* Provide regular updates to UK stakeholders on project progress, issues, and resolutions, maintaining transparency and engagement.
* Ensure the needs of multiple stakeholders (e.g., agents, data owners) are met accurately and comprehensively.
Data Analysis and Reporting
* Collect and analyse data to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making processes.
* Utilise tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau & Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
* Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting key findings, progress, and recommendations.
Documentation and Support
* Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process workflows, and change management plans.
* Provide ongoing support to address issues post-implementation and ensure continuous improvement.
Project Management
* Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans as needed.
What you will need to apply:
* Bachelor's degree or similar in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
* Experience in business analysis, with a focus on technical solutions and change management.
* Proven track record of successfully managing change initiatives and aligning cross-functional teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
* Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.
* Ability to work well with others, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience in project management and familiarity with Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
* Industry experience in finance, healthcare, IT, or consulting is a plus.
