Crest Nicholson are recruiting for a Group Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. Part of a central QA team delivering compliance monitoring of the remediation works, through Fire Remediation Quality Assurance Reviews, and to work in line with the Quality Assurance Policy. The purpose of the Quality Assurance Reviews is to confirm that the project is set up correctly on The Recording System (Zutec) and the fire remediation build team and contractors are working in compliance with the Project Execution Plans and procedures. The records on the Recording System will form a critical component of the Golden Thread records which must be assembled across the project's duration and held for future reference. Through quality inspections, visit sites at regular stages of remedial construction in accordance with the Quality Review Matrix to ensure we and our supply chain are complying with regulatory requirements and our systems, standards, drawings, and specifications. Review of the Pre-commencement checklist for project start Check through regular desktop reviews and quality inspections, that records are available on our Recording System of the completed remedial works and are being monitored and approved internally Utilise reporting tools such as Recording System Dashboards to monitor progress to demonstrate compliance Complete written reports of the Quality Assurance Reviews identifying actions to be completed by the build team or Group Inspect samples of sub-contractor works for fire protection as part of the Quality Review in accordance with the Passive Fire Protection Handbook Delivered in an agile way, largely site based (multiple locations) with mix of office, manufacturing facility and occasional home-based activity. What are we looking for in a successful candidate? Experience in the construction/home building industry (desirable) Internal auditor (desirable) Good understanding of Operational IT recording systems (e.g. Zutec/Field View) to record build compliance Understanding of building regulations and new home warranty standards Understanding of the Passive Fire Protection Handbook Practitioner Level of the Chartered Quality Institute (PCQI) or equivalent/working towards (desirable) Strong communication, coaching and training skills CSCS card Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Teams Proactive, self-driven, able to work on own initiative or within team The Company Crest Nicholson is a leading developer of quality homes and thriving, sustainable communities.
