Electronics Engineer
Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 2NZ
Salary: £48,000 - £68,000 per annum (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Contract: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities
* Apply electronic design expertise to develop new products and assist with improvements/changes to existing products.
* Assist with improvements/changes to existing products in response to obsolescence, regulatory changes, cost saving, and performance improvements.
* Liaise with other departments to provide a rapid and thorough response to engineering issues.
* Prepare design documentation, specifications, and design transfer/manufacturing documentation.
* Research and investigate new ideas and technologies that can be applied to RoBAT products.
* Construct and evaluate prototypes.
Occasional worldwide travel may be necessary due to the majority of our customers being based overseas.
Qualifications
* Experience of electronic hardware design and development (Analogue and Digital).
* Microcontroller development, including experience writing PIC firmware.
* Experience creating schematics and PCB design, including high-speed impedance‑controlled boards (previous experience with Altium PCB design software desirable).
* Experience fault‑finding and repair of complex electronic systems.
* Previous exposure to robotics or testing systems also desirable.
* Understanding and experience of signal integrity.
