Forestry Forwarder Operator Location: Halesworth The Role Working as part of an established estate team, your primary responsibility will be operating a forestry tractor with timber crane to extract timber from woodland and timber stacks. Duties will include: * Forwarding and extracting timber from woodland areas * Grading timber into appropriate categories (milling, firewood, chippable) using your own judgement and experience * Loading and transporting timber * Supporting wider estate operations, including: * Loading and transporting woodchip * Power harrowing * Low-loader towing * Operating modern tractors and telehandlers You must have proven experience operating Valtra tractors (or equivalent) and telehandlers.
