This role may suit a maintenance technician or O&M technician with experience in oil and energy, agricultural, or manufacturing. The role is based regionally so would suit someone who is happy living in the countryside, an hour outside the nearest city.

Summary
As Plant Operatoryou’ll oversee, operate, maintain, and optimize its dairy manure anaerobic digestion RNG plant in New York State.
The role shares responsibility for the performance, safety, and environmental compliance of the facility, including daily interfacing with SCADA control, making operating changes, executing preventative maintenance, performing lab work, and submitting environmental compliance reports while maintaining a safe work culture.
This role requires relocation and on-site working.
Primary Duties
* Site safety, environmental, and social compliance
* Improve plant operations via research on technology, process methods, and reactions to plant performance
* Stakeholder relationships internally and externally
* Monitor, maintain, and operate dairy manure anaerobic digester, manure feedstock preparation, RNG upgrader
* Report production, availability, operational trends
* Ensure the overall facility plant is kept safe, clean, and presentable at all times
* Perform lab work, record data, and conclusions that inform process control
* Manage budget while ensuring compliance with accounting practices
* Maintain the inventory and proper storage of all spare parts, and operating supplies
Experience/Minimum Requirements
* Mechanical and electrical fundamentals
* High School Diploma or GED
* Knowledge of PLC/SCADA controls
* Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Flexibility for 'on call' support or varied schedule needs
* Valid driver’s license
* Pass physical exam and aptitude test
* Provide reference checks related to previous employment
Desired Skills/Abilities
* Anaerobic Digester, energy facility, or similar process plant operations experience
* Technical training and/or certification
* College education/degree
Compensation and Benefits
* Salary from $80,000 to $100,000
* Up to 20% bonus potential
* Overtime pay or time off in lieu of, for call-outs
