Overview
We seek an experienced MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator. The job role covers completing customer fabrication jobs, fabrication installation work will vary at work premises and remote site installation. Full-time - Permanent / Self employed. 40 Hours Per Week - Basic + Overtime.
Responsibilities
* To support the engineering team when completing jobs.
* To contribute to the efficient running of the engineering department.
* Manufacturing customer orders to a high standard.
* Operating welding equipment.
* Cleaning tools and work areas.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and report any potential hazards.
* Using cutting and hand tools as required.
* To manufacture parts to the required specification.
* To complete site maintenance, fabrication and equipment installation.
* To communicate effectively with customers and team.
* Previous experience in mechanical and site maintenance. (Advantage not essential).
Essential requirements
* Full driving license.
* Previous experience in welding and fabrication (specifically MIG and TIG skills).
* To be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
* To be self-motivated and have a can-do attitude.
* Reliable and punctual.
