Barnshaw’s Group have a requirement for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team based at Anchor Lane, Coseley, West Midlands, WV14 9NE. We are seeking an ambitious, passionate individual with a flexible approach to your work and are committed to providing high-quality finance support.
With locations in the West Midlands, Manchester, and Hamilton and an outstanding track record since 1969.
Key responsibilities:-
* Carrying out credit checks for customers
* Agreeing payment terms and conditions
* Managing internal and external debt queries and enquiries
* Manage Purchase Ledger and Supplier payments
* Chasing overdue invoices by telephone and email
* Posting daily cash
* Liaising with credit insurance
* Month end reconciliations
Required Experience:-
* At least 3 years experience in accounts
* Experience in using Finance software such as Sap, Sage, or Pegasus.
* AAT Level 4 would be an advantage
* GCSE grade B or above in Maths, English and IT
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Be capable of working within a small team.
