Contract: Full-time, Permanent Location: Birmingham, West Midlands (Hybrid flexible) Salary: Up to £110,000 per annum up to 50% earning bonus potential Help Redefine How Britain Remembers Its Loved Ones. Every year, one in eight families in the UK turns to Dignity after the loss of a loved one. We operate the country’s largest network of crematoria with 45 sites supporting families with care, dignity, and meaning. Now we’re turning our focus to what happens after the funeral. Memorialisation - from plaques and gardens to cemetery plots and keepsakes - is a crucial part of the grieving process. But it’s an area that’s been overlooked in the UK. This is a rare opportunity to lead a national business unit with real growth potential and emotional impact. We’re looking for a commercially sharp emotionally intelligent leader to take ownership of our memorials and cemeteries business and help change how the country remembers the people it loves. What You’ll Do In Your First 12 Months Lead our £20m memorials and cemeteries business with clear plans to double revenue. Improve how families engage with memorials in branches online and at our crematoria. Refresh the product range and pricing, and raise the standard of how we present and sell it. Roll out new CRM tools, sales materials, and training for our 50-plus memorial consultants. Support field teams through regional leaders to improve conversion and average order value. Help shift internal and public perceptions of memorialisation. What We’re Looking For We’re open to a range of backgrounds - from experienced general managers or P&L owners to strong commercial up-and-comers looking for their next step. You might come from sectors like housing, healthcare, retail, life planning or something else entirely - like consulting or finance! You’ll thrive here if you’re: Smart, proactive and delivery-focused. A clear, confident communicator who leads with care and earns trust. Comfortable owning a full commercial remit from pricing to sales to performance. Able to work across teams and functions to get things done. Motivated by doing work that matters to people. Why this matters? Memorials matter. But in the UK, we’ve failed to tell their story well or support families to make meaningful choices after a loss. We believe that it can change. And this role is at the heart of that. You’ll be joining a new chapter at Dignity: one where we combine national scale with local care, emotional intelligence with commercial clarity, and trusted guidance with the freedom to grow. We’re looking for someone who wants to help build that - and who sees the value in helping families remember well. What We Provide To You Annual salary of up to £110,000. £6,000 Annual Car Allowance. Company & Personal Bonus Scheme. 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays. BUPA Private Healthcare (Family). Pension Scheme 4% Matched. Life Assurance X4 Annual Salary. Free On-Site Parking. Access to our internal apprentice & personal development schemes. What are the next steps? At Dignity, we’re reimagining how the UK approaches end-of-life and memorial services. This is an opportunity to lead a national team, shape a vital part of our future strategy, and deliver meaningful experiences to the families we support.
