About The Role
The Learning team creates opportunities for and supports young people aged 0‑25 to understand, connect, care for and advocate for the planet.
As Creative Producer for Communities & Youth you’ll design and deliver events, workshops and activities that bring the Museum’s science, collections and researchers to life for community families, youth groups and independent young people – both in the Museum and out in the community. You’ll work closely with local organisations and young people to listen, learn and develop responsive programmes. Building strong relationships and advocating for the needs of audiences are central to this work.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver events, workshops and participatory projects for young audiences aged 0‑25 and their communities.
* Collaborate with community partners, youth groups, and internal teams to plan and evaluate programmes.
* Advocate for community needs in Museum priority projects such as NHM150.
* Produce public-facing events, facilitate activities, and manage projects ensuring multiple initiatives progress simultaneously.
* Ensure inclusive, welcoming experiences for audiences who may not feel museums are for them.
Qualifications
* Experience designing and delivering engaging activities in informal learning settings like museums, cultural organisations or science/nature settings.
* Strong facilitation, organisational and project management skills.
* Proven ability to build relationships with community partners and collaborate across an organisation.
* Creative ability to turn ideas into engaging experiences and programmes.
* Commitment to inclusive, welcoming experiences for diverse audiences.

Hybrid Working
The role operates in a hybrid model with regular, weekly on‑site attendance required. Specific days will be agreed with the manager.
