Care & Activities Assistant - Bringing Joy to Every Day
Do you have a heart for caring, a spark of creativity, and a love for making a difference? We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our warm and welcoming Adult Day Centre Team as Care & Activities Assistants.
This is not your average role - every day you'll help create moment of joy and connection for people living with dementia or other cognitive or physical impairments. You will be responsible for planning and leading games, crafts and gentle exercise as well as sharing a laugh over lunch. You'll be at the heart of our centre making it welcoming and supportive for our Clients and their families.
What you'll be doing
* Planning and delivering fun, meaningful activities - from arts and crafts to movement and music.
* Supporting Clients with personal care needs (mealtimes, medication and trips to the toilet).
* Driving our minibus to bring Clients safely to and from the centre.
* Cooking up tasty and nutritious meals for our Clients.
* Maintain accurate records of care and support provided.
* Helping with the smooth running of the centre - from admin to tidying up.
What we're looking for
* Creativity, energy, and the ability to get everyone involved.
* Kindness, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting people.
* A confident driver with a clean licence (minibus driving experience a bonus but not essential).
* Someone happy to roll up their sleeves - whether that's driving, cooking, cleaning or caring.

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 22.5 per week
