Primary Responsibilities:
5. Work within a global team responsible for the business configuration and maintenance of all active modules in Workday
6. Taking the lead responsibility for management, configuration and design solutions for the Workday Absence Module
7. Additional responsibility for supporting ad hoc cross functional projects within the team
8. Monitor, research, and resolve problems in Workday.
9. Support and help deliver HR's systems roadmap
10. Designing and configuring with downstream system impact mindset
11. Provide recommendations and alternative solutions to system limitations
12. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure appropriate teams and people are involved.
13. Actively participate in the review, testing, and implementation of Workday releases; assess impact, own testing, and note changes to the relevant team
14. Proactively use Workday Community to stay current on new features/functionality, leading practices, and identify resolutions to issues
15. Supporting day to day issues which have been escalated by HR colleagues for resolution or development
16. Assist with report writing, as required
17. Assisting with all other HRIS systems that are touching Workday, as required (Peakon/Phenom)
18. Request or schedule continuous education training on Workday as required, so maintain essential skills
Key Responsibilities:
19. Working with the global team to implement enhancements and updates to help deliver efficiencies.
20. Supporting our local and global HR team and meeting their systems needs
21. Holding the position of Subject Matter Expert for the Workday Absence Module
22. Working with the People Data & Analytics team to meet the reporting & security needs of the Workday users
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
23. A minimum of three years' HR Systems and Management Information experience
24. A clear communicator able to converse directly with the business.
25. Practical understanding in Workday Core HCM expected
26. Demonstrable proficiency in configuration and design solutions for Workday Absence modules.
27. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and other HRIS and information tools
28. Analytical approach to problem solving
29. Sound understanding of HR Systems processes and functionality
30. Working well within a global and sometimes virtual team
31. Problem-solving within the Workday environment.
