Job responsibilities
1. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
2. Understand user requirements and business context, proactively addressing challenges and resolving bugs during testing or in production.
3. Follow established software development methodologies and maintain alignment with best practices for coding, security, and performance.
4. Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering adherence to software development methodologies and best practices.
5. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering open communication to deliver solutions that meet user expectations and project goals.
6. Actively contribute to technical design discussions and decision-making processes to enhance the quality of deliverables.
7. Engage in continuous professional development activities, including training and knowledge sharing, to enhance technical skills and contribute to team growth.
Requirements
8. Design and develop scalable software solutions, ensuring efficiency, maintainability and alignment with project requirements.
9. Work with database systems and optimize data models and queries to effectively integrate within applications.
10. Apply software development methodologies and best practices to deliver high quality software solutions.
11. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall code quality.
12. Experience in automating build and deployment pipeline to streamline software delivery and updates.
13. Plan and manage development tasks effectively, prioritising workload to meet project deadlines.
14. Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively within cross-functional teams to drive project success.
15. Proficiency in .NET technologies, including ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API and .NET frameworks
16. Hands-on experience with database systems, including SQL queries.
17. Experience in adhering to coding and security standards
Qualifications
18. Diploma in Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification
