We are seeking to appoint a one-to-one SEND teaching assistant to support a Year 1 student in a mainstream primary school in the Smethwick area. This school has a wonderful reputation locally and are seeking to appoint a long-term TA with a passion and determined to support children with SEND needs. The child you will be supporting struggles to access the mainstream curriculum and benefits from having tasks broken down into smaller, more engaging activities and this appointment is seen as a long-term support to this child. -You will be required to work 08:30 until 15:30, Monday to Friday during term-time only. -Previous experience working with individuals with SEND needs is essential to be considered. -Official teaching assistant qualifications are desirable but are not essential as the school are looking for the right applicant on a personal level with the child above qualifications.
