Our Hatfield-based client manages secure deliveries to prisons across the UK and needs skilled HGV Class 2 drivers to join their team. Immediate start available and permanent position available for right candidate after completing the probation period. DBS will be carried out as well.
Main duties of HGV Class 2 will include:
* Manage delivery from depot to prison site
* 1-5 drops per day depending on the area of delivery
* Ensure your load is safe and secure at all times
* Complete delivery paperwork accurately
* Maintain professional conduct representing the company
* Manual handling
Shift:
* Start times may vary each day between 5am-7am
* Monday to Friday
Pay Rates of HGV Class 2:
* Pay rate £16.18 PAYE for first 45 hours worked Monday to Friday
* Pay rate £24.27 PAYE for Monday to Friday after 45 hours and all hours worked on Saturday
* Guaranteed minimum 9 hours paid per day
* 45 minute paid break
