The Role: • To support an 11-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy. This young quiet boy enjoys computer games and is looking for support from a similar character. No personal care required. Main Duties: • Cinema trips • Computer games • Board Games • Support around use of power chair (self-transfers) • Building rapport • Company Personal Qualities and Attributes required: • Respectful of confidentiality and privacy • Responsible, reliable and trustworthy • Respectful of dignity and independence • Good communication skills and social skills • Punctual and flexible • Ability to work on your own initiative • Understanding, adaptable and organised • Must like cats • Driving licence to be able to drive Motability car and aged 25 and over for insurance purposes Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references. You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
