About the Role:
We are a female-led, fast-paced and growing business looking for a highly capable and motivated individual to take on a multi-functional role within our team. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, proactive, physically fit, and has excellent mental agility and memory.
With over 4,000 unique products in our range, the role requires someone who is quick-thinking, a strong problem-solver, and able to retain detailed product knowledge. You will work across customer service, warehouse operations, and shop floor assistance, making this role both challenging and highly rewarding for the right candidate.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
* Handle in-person, phone, and email queries with professionalism and empathy
* Process customer orders, returns, and complaints efficiently
* Use internal systems to manage customer communications and order details
* Provide holiday cover and additional support during busy periods
Warehouse & Stock Handling
* Pick, pack, and dispatch orders quickly and accurately
* Lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly — physical fitness is essential
* Check incoming deliveries and manage restocking
* Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organised
* Assist with stocktaking and inventory management
Shop Floor Assistance
* Welcome and assist customers with product information and purchases
* Operate the till and process transactions
* Restock shelves and maintain visual merchandising standards
* Update product pricing and in-store displays using the system
* Learn and retain detailed knowledge across thousands of SKUs
Essential Requirements
* Physically fit and able – frequent lifting, standing, and warehouse work
* Fully computer literate – confident using order systems, inventory tools, spreadsheets, and email
* Quick-thinking and sharp memory – critical due to our large product catalogue
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
* Organised, dependable, and self-motivated
* Friendly and professional manner with strong communication skills
* Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or customer service roles
Desirable Attributes
* Familiarity with retail systems or inventory software
* Experience in eco-friendly or refill-based retail
* Manual handling certification or warehouse health & safety training
* Passion for sustainability and ethical products
