SEN Support Worker
Secondary SEN School | Bradford | Immediate Start
I am currently working with a supportive secondary SEN school in Bradford that is looking to appoint a SEN Support Worker to support pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs. This role is available for an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and making a real difference in the classroom.
About the Role
You will be supporting secondary-age pupils with a range of needs, including:
* Autism (verbal and non-verbal)
* Learning difficulties
* Complex needs
You will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupils with their learning, behaviour, and social development.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Is patient, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with students
* Can support pupils both in the classroom and in small group settings
* Has experience working with young people (schools, care, youth work, coaching, or workshops)
Experience with Theatre in Education (TIE) or delivering workshops with young people would be beneficial but is not essential.
