With aggressive expansion underway, this iconic global Facilities Management powerhouse is investing in best-practice procurement. The firm is seeking to hire a highly qualified FM Procurement specialist to join their team, managing an untapped FM category.
As FM Senior Category Manager (VP), you will be regarded as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various £Multi-Million procurement sub-categories, including but not limited to Catering, Cleaning, Waste Services (Soft FM), Engineering & Building Services, Fit-Out & Construction (Hard FM).
Procurement role summary:
* Implement sourcing strategies for FM Services to support operational objectives and achieve financial targets.
* Ensure the Regional Buying team employs the Regional Procurement strategy across the UK & Ireland.
* Gather visibility of FM capex project pipeline to enable procurement activity for projects.
* Manage a team of procurement professionals, ensuring relevant succession planning through development.
* Deliver ambitious annual savings targets to meet regional goals.
To be successful, you must have:
* 5-7+ years of experience leading teams in buying/category management environments.
* Experience in FM sub-categories such as Lifts, Fire and Security, Water Treatment, Electrical Wholesale.
* Experience managing sub-contractors across Hard and Soft FM Services.
* Experience working in multi-cultural and matrix environments.
* Experience developing and implementing national procurement and category strategies.
* A proven track record in complex contract negotiations.
