Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

Our York, PA team is looking for a mid-senior level Mechanical Engineer with experience in infrastructure design or MEP/building design. Ideal candidate has management experience or ready to lead their own team. PE license is highly preferred.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
* Design mechanical systems for large central cooling and heating plants, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, large bore piping, and control systems
* Perform engineering calculations such as heat and mass balance, code compliance analysis, hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysis
* Provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, including mechanical engineers and designers
* Take initiative in completing design and analysis tasks for project submission packages, which include drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and design narratives
* Collaborate with project managers, team members, other disciplines, and external consultants to address design coordination and issues
* Participate in construction administration by attending meetings, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and documenting progress
Requirements:
* Possess strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
* Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
* Licensed as a Professional Engineer with over 7 years of experience in engineering design and construction administration
* Proficient in designing using Autodesk Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM)
* Experienced in conducting fieldwork and documenting existing engineering conditions
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience with institutional infrastructure systems
* Experience with ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code
