Key Account Manager (covering the Preston/Lancaster/Blackburn area)
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, combining field work, customer site visits, office time, and remote work.
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join our innovative sales team. You will work across a variety of industries and build strong relationships with customers in the region.
What You Will Be Doing
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in Preston, Lancaster, and Blackburn.
* Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio.
* Produce robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
* Build a detailed understanding of customers, markets, and competitors.
* Maintain accurate customer records.
* Collaborate with internal teams and other account managers to achieve sales targets.
Required Skills and Experience
* Field‑based sales experience with account management responsibilities and a track record of meeting KPIs.
* Open-minded, adaptable, and solution‑led approach.
* Strategic thinking and planning skills.
* Excellent relationship‑building abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar B2B systems is a bonus.
* Valid driving licence.
