Residential Support Worker Job Description:
Salary - Circa £34,000 including sleep-in allowance (£70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month)

Residential Support Worker duties include:
* To work as a member of the team to provide young people with a variety of activities, support, care and guidance using a positive parenting model
* To follow guidance from the Team Leader and other senior colleagues to ensure the smooth day to day running of the home providing structure and appropriate boundaries for the young people in our care
* A Residential Support Worker will have a flexible approach to shift patterns which may sometimes require changes to rota at short notice
* To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
* To undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package
* A Residential Support Worker will act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model
* To attend staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Working with children: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent (preferred)
Manual Driving Licence (required)
