Overview
Education Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Mickleover to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, 1:1 role. This is an opportunity for an SEN TA to support pupils with additional needs within a mainstream primary setting.
The school is well known locally for its strong links with families and its inclusive approach to education. SEN support is embedded into daily practice rather than treated as separate provision, with clear structures, calm learning spaces, and consistent expectations across the school. Staff work closely together to support pupils’ emotional wellbeing as well as their academic progress, and there is a clear focus on helping children develop independence, confidence, and positive learning habits. SEN Teaching Assistants are encouraged to contribute ideas, reflect on practice, and play an active role in shaping support strategies.

• Contribute to reviews, meetings, and wider school activities when needed
