Join our team as a Communications Coordinator
Make a real impact by helping to shape how Bolton at Home communicates with its communities and stakeholders. As a Communications Coordinator, you'll support the delivery of campaigns, events, and stakeholder engagement activities - ensuring our messages reach the right people at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a first point of contact for stakeholder enquiries, ensuring high-quality customer service.
* Support the planning, delivery, and administration of communication campaigns and activities.
* Keep our communication channels up to date, including the website, social media, and internal news platforms.
* Organise and support events, meetings, and stakeholder activities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, partners, and other stakeholders.
* Provide guidance to internal teams through a service desk function, coordinating with external agencies where required.
* Contribute to developing and improving systems and processes to deliver communication projects more efficiently.
* Champion Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, using inclusive language and celebrating differences.
* Report and act on any identified Health & Safety concerns, sharing learning where needed.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
* Digital proficiency, including social media, website management, and Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams and Outlook.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* A customer-focused approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Creative, solutions-focused thinking to deliver engaging communication activities.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and external agencies.

* Experience in communications, public relations, or marketing (desirable but not essential).
