Salary: Base salary: c£60,142.80pa to £70,755.60pa depending on skills and experience (inclusive of a flexible benefits fund of 20%). Additional competitive benefits as detailed on our Benefits page.

Job Purpose
The Logistics Team is responsible for enabling the safe, cost‑effective, sustainable, and compliant delivery of HS2 through industry‑leading logistics guidance, integrated planning, and assurance.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist advice and expertise at all stages of the construction process to the NEC 3 Project Manager.
* Assess feasibility of work and maintain contractor compliance through Construction Logistics Strategy, Plans, and the Logistic Environment Safety Sustainability Management Plan.
* Coordinate logistics requirements with HS2 teams and contractors based on material and plant demands.
* Collaborate with mass haul and earthworks teams on vehicle movement and strategy amendments.
* Work with other ALMs and HS2 stakeholders to ensure interface items are incorporated into construction logistics plans.
* Assist Senior Logistics Manager in reviewing and delivering route‑wide requirements, coordinated strategy, and programme.
* Monitor and report on contractor logistics, safety, and compliance with EMRs, undertakings and assurances.
* Plan and integrate MWSC, Rail Systems and Operations contracts, providing guidance for the Rail Systems Alliance.
* Lead and support collaboration and logistics forums.
* Maintain HS2’s compound and gate naming conventions within the asset management system.
