Equity Research Analyst Renewable Energy Sector fixed price
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equity Research Analyst to join our team, specializing in the Industrial - Renewable Energy sector. This buy-side analyst role involves rigorous fundamental research, financial modeling, and strategic industry analysis to generate actionable insights and recommendations for institutional investor clients. You'll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive coverage of publicly traded companies within this dynamic sector.
Key Responsibilities (Equity Research Analyst - Buy-Side, Solar Energy and Industrial Electrical Products Sector):
* Conduct in-depth industry and company research within the Industrial and Renewable Energy sector, analyzing market trends, technological advancements, competitive landscapes, and regulatory impacts.
* Build and maintain detailed financial models, including revenue forecasting, cost analysis, margin analysis, capital expenditure projections, and various valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, precedent transactions, comparable company analysis) specific to industrial and renewable energy manufacturers and distributors.
* Develop well-articulated investment theses and publish comprehensive research reports with actionable recommendations for institutional clients, covering a spectrum of companies from established market leaders to emerging innovators.
* Monitor key macroeconomic indicators, global industrial production trends, infrastructure spending, energy transition initiatives, and raw material costs impacting the industrial and renewable energy sector.
* Engage regularly with company management teams, industry experts, attend industry conferences, and participate in investor events to gather proprietary insights and deepen sector knowledge.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in buy-side equity research and analysis in reputable Institutional firm, with a proven track record of covering the industrial and renewable energy manufacturers or closely related industries (e.g., industrials, solar energy)
* Advanced financial modeling skills, particularly with large-cap Industrial Electrical Products companies, and proficiency in Excel and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, CapIQ).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise, and impactful research reports and presentations.
* Demonstrated ability to develop independent investment views and defend them with rigorous analysis.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. CFA designation is a significant plus.
