Learning Support Assistant

Our partner school in Bromley (BR1) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students' learning and development, particularly those with special educational needs.
Responsibilities include providing one-on-one or small group support, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), assisting with classroom management, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a patient and compassionate approach, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs.
2. Assist in the implementation of IEPs.
3. Support classroom management and organization.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
6. Monitor and report on students' progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
5. Relevant qualifications in education or support work are desirable.
