Job Title: HR Advisor
Salary: £15.30 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (30 mins unpaid lunch)
Reporting to: Head of HR Operations
The Role
We are looking for a hands‑on HR Advisor to support managers and staff across the business. You’ll handle recruitment, employee advice, policies, and HR admin, making sure everything follows the law and company procedures.
What You’ll Do
* Advise managers and staff on HR policies and employment issues
* Manage recruitment for all regions – from posting ads to interviewing and hiring
* Ensure cleaning operatives are hired in line with legal requirements
* Support the Head of HR Operations with people‑related matters
* Help develop and update HR policies
* Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion
* Carry out DBS checks and manage the online system
* Update payroll and maintain accurate records on Cleanlink
* Issue induction documents and set up probation/annual reviews
* Track absence, holiday, and training records
* Assist with TUPE processes and keep activity logs
What We Need From You
* Previous HR experience in a medium‑sized company
* CIPD qualification
* Strong recruitment and employment law knowledge
* Good organisational, IT, and people skills
* Able to handle confidential information
* TUPE experience is a bonus
