As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. Responsibilities: Lead Design: Take charge of new product design from initial ideation to full production introduction, ensuring maximum performance and adherence to specifications. Technical Expertise: Provide expertise in areas such as thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, stress analysis, and materials science to optimize design performance and reliability. Feasibility Studies and Risk Assessments: Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to propose early solutions or improvements. Utilize analysis and simulation for alternative validation to streamline product delivery. Manufacturability: Design for manufacturing, oversee creation of detailed engineering drawings with full tolerance specifications and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality. Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning activities to contribute to product and technology roadmaps. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly with overall product objectives. Project Management: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with timelines and financial targets.
