Are you interested in improving equipment provision for children and young people? We are excited to offer an opportunity for a non-qualified Children’s Therapy Assistant/ Community Care Officer to join our ICELS Clinical Team. This role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of three years of experience who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives through equipment provision and minor adaptations.
Position Details
* Location: Primarily based in Ollerton, with some home working and regular days at Middleton Court stores in Bilborough
* Salary: £30,024 - £33,699 per annum (pro rata)

Responsibilities
* Location: Primarily based in Ollerton, with some home working and regular days at Middleton Court stores in Bilborough
* Provide expert advice, guidance and problem-solving around community equipment and minor adaptations
* Collaborate with professionals across sectors to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred solutions
* Support clinical decision-making with sound reasoning and practical insight
* Assist with provision of training to prescribers
What We’re Looking For
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Confidence in managing challenging situations and achieving positive outcomes
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to continuous learning
* Solid clinical reasoning and experience of using specialist equipment in children’s therapy
* Awareness of the real-world challenges faced in clinical practice
* Competence in, or willingness to develop skills in, standard office IT systems (e.g., Webelms and Excel)
