We are currently seeking a skilled Precision Engineer/CNC turner/miller to join our client in Rochdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to perform precision machining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and operation, with experience working with a variety of materials.
Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
* Monitor machine performance to ensure proper operation and quality of output
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
* Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products
* Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as required
* Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions in a timely manner
* Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and product quality
* Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in CNC programming and operation
* Strong knowledge of machining techniques and materials
* Proficiency in technical drawings and blueprints
* Ability to use precision measuring tools
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Must be able to work on-site in Rochdale, United Kingdom
