Job Overview
The job involves carrying out safety checks, reactive works, planned maintenance servicing and general repairs. You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety, understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme. You should be IT literate for record‑keeping, have good customer‑service skills and be physically able to carry out the full duties detailed in the job description.
Qualifications
* Background in facilities maintenance within the construction sector, data hall industry or critical engineering.
* Level 2/3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition for electrically biased engineers or City & Guilds craft certificate/ONC, or recognised craft apprenticeship for mechanical/plumbing biased engineers.
* Preferably, comprehensive understanding of Building Services. C&G 2391 or equivalent desirable.
* Full in‑depth, intrusive security checks to be completed for the successful candidate.
