A well-established asset management and property development business is seeking an Asset Manager to join their growing team. The company specialises in transforming underperforming assets into vibrant, sustainable destinations across retail, leisure, and mixed-use sectors. They work closely with both public and private partners to unlock value while delivering schemes that benefit communities as well as investors.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will support a diverse portfolio of projects, from town centre schemes to complex regeneration developments. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and quickly take ownership of your own mandates, supported by strong mentorship.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering asset management strategies across multiple schemes.
* Preparing asset management plans, reporting packs, and client presentations.
* Driving leasing and tenant mix strategies in collaboration with advisors.
* Working with managing agents on operations, service charge, arrears, and compliance.
* Monitoring performance against financial and operational KPIs.
* Undertaking strategic asset reviews, due diligence, and underwriting on acquisitions.
* Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to align strategies with local and commercial objectives.
About You
* 2–5 years PQE in asset management, investment, valuation, or property advisory (retail/town centre experience desirable).
* RICS qualification with strong lease and negotiation skills.
* Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial performance data (NOI, ERV, etc.).
* Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Organised, proactive, and able to balance detailed reporting with strategic thinking.
* Motivated by value creation and regeneration projects, and comfortable working collaboratively.
