To provide high quality professional administrative support to the Community Nursing Teams. To support the Team Leaders and community nursing teams to implement efficient office systems and procedures.
To ensure high standards of customer services are met at all times when liaising with staff, external organisations, patients and their relatives.
Although the post holder will mainly be based at Meadway community nursing team, you could be asked to travel or support any of our community nursing teams within the East locality.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the community nursing team including typing of letters, minutes of meetings and other documentation.
* Support the Team Leaders and community nursing teams to implement efficient office systems and procedures.
* Maintain accurate records and databases (Microsoft Word and Excel).
* Ensure high standards of customer service when liaising with staff, external organisations, patients and their relatives.
* Provide cover across various community nursing teams within the locality as required, demonstrating flexibility.
Qualifications
* Skilled administrator with experience of databases and Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Able to work on own initiative with excellent communication skills.
* Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to support busy teams.
* Must be able to complete a Maths & English test as part of the interview process.
