Start Date: ASAP Business Context: This is a global property management platform, acquired in last year by a fast-growing SaaS organisation. Experiencing typical scale-up challenges: Hasn't built a mature operating model. Immature commercial structure, challenges with billing, compliance, insurance, and account management. Several deep dives completed; there's now a strong understanding of existing pain points and opportunities. With the current CEO stepping away, there's an opportunity to reshape the business and bring in senior commercial leadership. Strategic Goals: Transition from a founder-led scale-up to a mature, scalable SaaS business. Implement strong operational control across customer excellence, sales, and account management. Build an end-to-end commercial model that supports both internal delivery and market-facing growth. Focus and stabilise the UK market first, as well as efficiency, and growth. Once stable, explore international expansion (France and US markets in early view). Purpose: To own and deliver the commercial strategy across all customer-facing functions, professionalise operations, and support the transition to a scale-ready organisation. Responsibilities: Develop and execute commercial strategy across sales, account management, and customer success. Structure and manage client delivery, operations, and team accountability. Oversee compliance, billing, and service delivery performance across the portfolio. Collaborate closely with product leadership to feed in market needs and operational insights. Establish performance tracking, forecasting, and team reporting frameworks. Operate as the day-to-day commercial lead, while the founder transitions to a full-time product-focused role. Support long-term readiness for international expansion, but with a primary focus on stabilising the UK business. Experience: Deep experience in commercial leadership roles within SaaS businesses - ideally growth-stage or scale-up environments. Track record of leading customer-facing teams in founder-led businesses. Comfortable working in ambiguous, high-growth, non-corporate environments. Proven ability to implement structure and process where little exists; across sales, customer success, and operations. Highly capable of stakeholder management, including with strong founder personalities. Able to "drop into" fast-moving organisations and get traction quickly. Based in the UK, with UK market as the immediate priority.
