Podiatry Bank: Band 5 Podiatrist (NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde)
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has an excellent opportunity within our Podiatry Service to recruit to our Podiatry Bank. We are seeking enthusiastic HCPC registered Podiatrists to join our Podiatry Bank and support the delivery and high-quality foot care across the service.
As a band 5 Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing essential foot care services to a wide range of service users with varied and complex Podiatry needs. You will work as part of a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high quality care and foot health education to the population of Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board.
This is a flexible opportunity to work across various sites within NHS GGC, covering community settings, clinics, and hospital environments. Being part of the Podiatry Bank provides all training and development opportunities whilst allowing flexibility around other commitments. We welcome candidates seeking either full time or part time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality Podiatry care to service users, treating and managing a wide variety of foot-health conditions.
2. Assess, diagnose, and implement management plans based on service users needs.
3. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals providing integrated care.
4. Educate service users on their foot health conditions and self-management strategies.
5. Maintain and record accurate digital clinical records and adhere to NHS GGC policies and protocols.
Requirements:
1. Degree or diploma in Podiatry.
2. HCPC registration.
3. Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential.
