Job Summary
Grade UE03: £24,729 to £25,804 per annum (pro‑ra) for part‑time (£13.55 – £14.14 per hour) plus a 5% premium band for flexible working.
Department: CSG / Accommodation, Catering and Events / Property Team.
Employment type: Full time, 35 hours per week, working on a 5 over 7 basis including weekends and shift patterns typically between 7 am – 6 pm.
Fixed‑term: 18 May 2026 to 13 September 2026.
Opportunity
This Summer Domestic Team Supervisor role will support the Team Leader in all aspects of planning, organising and distributing linen during the summer letting period. The postholder will manage a team of eight Linen Assistants, ensuring accurate distribution, collection and counting of clean and used linen and managing team performance.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Team Leader in planning, organising and distributing linen during the summer letting period.
* Supervise a team of eight Linen Assistants, managing performance, workload allocation and distribution.
* Ensure accurate counting of clean and used linen and manage all aspects of linen operations across multiple buildings.
* Maintain high cleaning and housekeeping standards across accommodation.
Requirements
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
* Strong customer service skills and professional communication with colleagues and customers.
* Experience in workload allocation to team members.
* Supervisory skills desirable.
* Ability to work weekends on a rota basis and flexibility in working patterns and locations.
* Commitment to the entire fixed‑term period of employment.
Working Conditions
Weekend work on a rota basis for the duration of the contract. Flexibility is essential as working patterns and locations may change in line with business needs.
