The team in Vadnais Heights is looking for experienced DSPs to work with 4 men who enjoy a slower pace of life and like being in the community for events. This location does require training and working with medical equipment, such as hoyer lifts and G-Tubes.
The team in St. Paul is looking for an experienced DSP that will contribute new ideas to the home, enjoy going to activities with the people we support and have patience.

Shift(s): Part-Time
Wage: Starting $20.00/ hour
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide supports consistent with what is needed for the person and authorized for Mains'l to provide (this may include dressing, bathing, responding to behavioral and mental health crisis, coaching through difficult situations, etc.)
2. Support with behavior management and intervention; including de-escalation and using positive reinforcement techniques
3. Support in transportation of varying activities important to the person as well as attend medical appointments as needed
4. Administer medication
5. Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team on service plans
6. Document on service plans as instructed, ensuring accurate records for ongoing support
7. Complete incident reports
8. Ensure a safe and structured environment
9. Complete and stay up to date on all trainings that are assigned
Requirements
10. At least 18 years of age
11. Valid MN driver's license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report
12. Reliable transportation with valid insurance
13. Ability to pass a background check through DHS
14. 1 year of experience as a DSP or similar with behavioral or medical supports
15. CNA Experience Preferred
