We are looking for a Smartphone Product Manager to join one of the world’s top consumer electronics brands.
You’ll take ownership of the smartphone portfolio in the UK, defining their commercial strategy and driving their growth in the market. You will develop and implement the quarterly business plan and manage the end-to-end product lifecycle.
This role involves close collaboration with internal sales, marketing, and finance teams, as well as with European and global HQ teams, so strong commercial and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the quarterly product strategy and business plan for the smartphone ranges.
* Oversee the full product lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life, including pricing, positioning, and channel distribution.
* Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders across the UK, European, and Global HQ teams to gain support for business plans.
* Drive the business to achieve key targets for revenue, volume, market share, and profit.
* Manage the product P&L, with a focus on delivering profitability, often with low margins.
* Own the sell-out forecasting at a SKU level and actively track performance, making fast recommendations to mitigate any shortfalls.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in product management, preferably within the Smartphone or Consumer Electronics industry, particularly from an Asian headquartered company.
* Experience managing a P&L and a proven ability to deliver profitability, particularly with low margins.
* Strong commercial and numerical skills, with exceptional proficiency in Excel.
* Experience in proposition development and execution.
* Experience managing the full product lifecycle.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and present to senior stakeholders.
