Position Details
This is a permanent, part-time position with a shift pattern from 8:30 to 16:30. Please note the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
Role Overview
We are offering a permanent, part-time (0.5 WTE) Band 6 Community Paediatric Physiotherapist position within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, based at the Skylark Centre, Inverclyde HSCP. Join a driven and dynamic team committed to staying current with local and national strategies, engaging with stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes for children and young people.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and management to children with complex clinical conditions, including developmental delays, movement disorders, disabilities, or illnesses.
* Manage a clinical caseload, delivering safe and effective care.
* Participate in training and mentoring opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration.
* Working towards a master's level postgraduate qualification.
* Sound theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology, with experience assessing a wide range of paediatric conditions.
* Post-registration experience working with children and young people; community experience is beneficial.
Additional Requirements
* Car driver essential.
* Basic IT skills (e.g., MS Word, Outlook, browser). A laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
