Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Belfast (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Early Finish on Fridays) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to take ownership of key accounts processes while supporting the financial operations of the business. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for managing purchase ledger activities for a major client, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities Managing the purchase ledger function, primarily for one major client Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Liaising with multiple suppliers on a daily basis Preparing and processing payments Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records Supporting the wider finance function as required What Were Looking For Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role (essential) Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Ability to work on your own initiative and manage workload independently Confident communicator with experience dealing with suppliers Well-organised with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines Why Join Us?
