The Frank Chapman Centre is a residential outdoor education centre based in the Wyre Forest, Bewdley, Worcs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, flexible and hardworking individual to join our domestic and kitchen support team, delivering all aspects of catering and domestic support to school residential and visiting groups
The centre is part of the Sandwell Residential Education Service (SRES) which is a group of 4 centres in Shropshire, Staffordshire and North Wales and is managed by Sandwell Council.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Assist in food preparation, serving and cleaning down.
* Basic awareness of the principles of food hygiene, allergens and Health & Safety
* To undertake kitchen and domestic tasks throughout the centre as required.
* Ability to work both alone and in a team
* Enthusiastic, friendly, flexible and self-motivated
* Clean throughout the centre to a high standard as required, including deep cleaning to a specified standard.
* To prepare dormitories/bedrooms appropriately for visitors
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check
Hours
Term-time 23 hrs & 16 hrs per week
