The University of Western Australia (UWA) is seeking a skilled professional to join our Digital Enhancement team supporting the development of digital education initiatives such as Microcredentials and Short Courses.

Job Details

Join our University’s Digital Enhancement team supporting the development of digital education initiatives such as Microcredentials and Short Courses. Provide engaging, flexible, and industry-relevant digital learning experiences. Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis until 31 December 2026. Base salary range: $104,243 – $115,661 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.


About the area

The Digital Development and Enhancement team at UWA collaborates with academics to design and develop high-quality digital learning experiences, ensuring effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS) and innovative digital tools.


About the opportunity

* Using digital learning and learning guidelines, support unit development in design and development of engaging content in collaboration with subject matter experts predominantly for Microcredentials and Short Courses.
* Craft and become multimedia specialists to improve learning activities engagement.
* Implement University-wide digital initiatives locally, collaborate across teams to enhance service delivery, and contribute to professional development programs.


About you

* Relevant tertiary qualification in an educational field or demonstrated equivalent competency.
* Extensive relevant experience in digital and online educational design at an appropriate level.
* Knowledge and experience in the integration and evaluation of curricula to facilitate and develop appropriate, effective, and innovative learning solutions.
* Proficiency in a range of computer skills, including multimedia design and production.
* Experience in facilitating professional development frameworks, processes, and programs in education.
