About the home:
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Deputy Manager (RGN) (RMN) to join our friendly and welcoming care home providing nursing care for adults with a range of needs including dementia/Alzheimer’s, old age and elderly care and physical disability.

As the Deputy Manager, you will oversee and assist every aspect of nursing care and activities within the home, including developing and updating care plans and maintaining clear, accurate medication records. Always seeking to share your clinical experience, you will provide valuable support, guidance and assistance to the rest of our care staff. You will be required to support the Home manager and act up in their absence.
Responsibilities:
7. Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff and ensure high standards of care
8. Support the Home Manager in day to day running of the nursing home
9. Oversee care planning, risk assessments and ensure compliance with CQC standards
10. Manage staff rota and annual leave
11. Induct, supervise and appraise junior nursing staff
12. Liaise with doctors, district nurses and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
13. Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with valid NMC PIN
14. Proven experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager or similar clinical leadership role
15. Experience working in a nursing home environment
