If you enjoy getting hands-on with electronics, solving real technical problems, and supporting products that genuinely matter, this is a role where your expertise won't sit on the sidelines. As a Technical Support Engineer (Electronics), you'll play a key part in keeping complex electronic systems performing in demanding environments - from initial build through to fault resolution and future development.
What you'll be getting stuck into
* Creating and interpreting schematic diagrams to support product build and repair
* Diagnosing and repairing electronic faults down to component level across returned and in-production items
* Building bespoke electronic assemblies using documented wiring diagrams and processes
* Testing products to ensure correct functionality, radio connections and performance standards
* Supporting product development and redesign activities, including investigation of emerging technologies
* Providing clear technical support to internal teams and visiting customers
What you'll bring to the table
* Previous experience working within an electronics engineering environment
* Ideally experience with, audio knowledge of amplifiers, op amps and general audio circuitry
* Proven ability to fault-find, read schematics and work at component level
* Strong soldering capability and hands-on PCB rework experience
* Practical use of test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and signal generators
* Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, KiCAD and Microsoft Office 365 (training available where needed)
