Functional Assessor Role, 9-5, Monday to Friday, all UK Bank Holidays off. Immediate starts available.
Compensation: Competitive salary + 10% annual bonus paid quarterly (bonus paid as 2.5% of salary every quarter, based on quality and productivity).
Role Fit
Are you a clinician (RGN/RMN/RNLD or Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy) looking to apply your skills and curiosity at the core of the role? Do you want a role that combines compassion and professionalism, broadens your medical and pharmacology knowledge, supports a healthy work-life balance, and rewards your efforts (CPD paid for, training and development provided)?
My client is seeking enthusiastic and committed clinicians to join their outstanding teams in Yeovil.
Responsibilities
You will assess up to a maximum of four to five customers per day, taking clinical observations and questions and creating a written report to pass on to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). The DWP will make a decision on support for the customer; your report forms only part of that decision. Customer satisfaction at assessment is reported at 96%.
Training
Customers will have multiple clinical issues. You will receive industry-leading training provided by the client’s clinical tutors. The course will equip you with the skills to support customers and transfer your current skills to the level required for the role, with a special focus on mental health and musculoskeletal issues. Full training is approximately 6 months, during which you will be paid. This role will maintain your registration with the NMC as an RGN and you will receive revalidation support.
Development
After training, you will have ongoing CPD with over 100 hours protected per annum, support with revalidation, and opportunities to develop your career within the organisation. You will have support in maintaining your RGN/RMN/RNLD or Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy skills and developing your clinical portfolio. These roles meet the requirements of the NMC and HCPC for revalidation and re-registration.
Requirements
* One year post-registration with the NMC/HCP as an RGN/RMN/RNLD, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or overseas equivalent experience.
* Computer or IT skills are essential.
* Typing or keyboard skills with the ability to type at 40 words per minute.
