Lead Data Integration Engineer
Permanent - Kent
Hybrid (circa 3 days a week in the office)
FPSG seek an experienced Lead Data Integration Engineer who can provide both 'Team' and 'Technical' leadership to support the development of a new Single Source Digital Platform. You will be responsible for driving data integrations between legacy systems and the new Salesforce platform, optimizing the .Net Azure environment.
The Lead Data Integration Engineer's responsibilities will include:
* Leading integration engineering tasks and initiatives.
* Promoting excellence in design, coding, and implementation processes.
* Owning key components of the product roadmap.
* Advocating for an Agile and DevOps operating model.
* Applying industry best practices in Azure Data Factory and related technologies.
* Innovating with bespoke tooling solutions to enable scalable, real-time data integrations.
* Serving as a line manager and mentor to development team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience of:
* Leading high-performing engineering teams.
* Advanced experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AutoLoader, Apache Airflow.
* Hands-on experience with real-time and batch (synchronous and asynchronous) integrations into Salesforce.
* Strong database skills, including SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and architecture.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
* Azure data integration certifications are highly desirable.
* Understanding of data flow and messaging services such as Event Hub and Apache Kafka.
Please note:
* This role requires onsite presence 3 days a week; candidates should be reasonably located within commuting distance.
* Locations considered include Tunbridge Wells, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Bristol, or Bournemouth.
* Currently, sponsorship support is not available for this role.
