Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant, to work on a 1:1 basis with children in Key Stages 1 & 2 at a number of supportive and inclusive primary schools across South Liverpool.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will be supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs, helping them to flourish both academically and socially within a supportive school environment.
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide individualised support for children with Autism and other SEN.
* Adapt activities and resources to meet each child's unique learning style.
* Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support plans.
* Encourage positive behaviour, build self-esteem, and promote social and emotional development.
We are looking for someone who has:
* Proven experience supporting children with Autism.
* A background working with children, either in schools or as a Support Worker.
* A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above) - desirable but not essential with the right experience.
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK
* An Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
* Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable)
* An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (minimum)
