Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (on-site)
Reports to: Building Manager
Working Hours: 06.00 -15.30, Monday through Friday
Salary – Up to £29,000 per annum

The Role
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our on-site restaurant team. This is a hands-on role supporting our Head Chef with the smooth running of the kitchen and ensuring the space is clean, safe and well organised.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a small, friendly team and takes pride in maintaining high standards behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Support: Assist with basic food preparation and support the chef during busy service periods.
Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness across all kitchen and bar areas, following food safety guidelines.
Stock & Supplies: Help with deliveries, unpacking supplies, and keeping stores organised.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and enjoys working in a supportive team environment. You’ll need to be:
Experienced in a kitchen environment (ideally within a maintained building or similar setting)
Able to follow instructions, work safely, and stay calm under pressure
Physically fit, with the ability to carry out tasks involving some lifting
Organised, punctual and eager to learn new skillsIf you have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, we can teach you the rest.
